This music video depicts the 1984 Anti-Sikh Riots. Working within a constrained budget, I had to design and build a set that authentically represented Punjab during that turbulent period, while ensuring it felt both realistic and immersive. To bring this vision to life, I assembled a dedicated production crew and collaborated with a production designer who helped translate my ideas into a tangible space. Simultaneously, I worked closely with a lyricist to create and compose the song that would serve as the foundation of the video, ensuring the music and visuals were seamlessly aligned. The pre-production phase was an invaluable learning experience. I managed the budget meticulously, ensuring every requirement was completed within a strict four-day deadline. This involved making critical creative decisions regarding the set design, optimizing labor allocation, and coordinating tasks so the set was completed on time. In addition, I handled crew management by fulfilling the Director and DOP’s requirements, enabling smooth production operations. I also organized post-production workflows and managed the accounts, ensuring the project was executed efficiently from start to finish.
